Radio Free Afghanistan charts Saad Mohseni’s efforts in building a truly independent media company amid conflict and the constant threat of censorship. Mohseni, CEO and chairman of the MOBY Group, helped reshape the country’s media landscape, offering reliable news and music to millions. Renowned foreign correspondents Lyse Doucet and Christina Lamb have assisted the global understanding of Afghanistan’s layered realities through extensive firsthand reporting. Lamb highlights real stories from Afghanistan in The Sewing Circles of Herat and Farewell Kabul. Doucet traces a people’s history of modern Afghanistan in The Finest Hotel in Kabul. Rashmee Roshan Lall is the author of Pomegranate Peace, a novel based on her year spent in Afghanistan. Together, they explore a nation’s fight for its own voice.
